Work is gathering pace on the Aldourie Castle Estate, Inverness in time for the grand opening in Winter 2008.

The historic fairytale-style Aldourie Castle, the only inhabited castle on the shores of Loch Ness, dates back to the early 17th century and was owned by the same family for over 260 years. Sold in 2002, it is now being lovingly restored to its former late Victorian glory and will soon be available as an outstanding five star exclusive accommodation within the Castle.

The traditional estate cottages are also being completely renovated to create warm, comfortable and snug four and five star retreats suitable for couples, families, or for single people wanting to escape the rat-race and soak up Aldourie Estate's peace and tranquillity. Here again, you can use them for self-catering or enjoy meals in nearby Inverness, staying for short breaks or longer holidays.
